Frontend Web Development: HTML, CSS, TypeScript, React

Accessible web development using modern tools: HTML 5, CSS 3, TypeScript, JavaScript and React have proven themselves in front-end development. As a senior web developer, I know this from many years of experience.

I have used React in several projects, recently in a proof of concept combined with Astro and Tailwind. I published the JavaScript and TypeScript code for optimizing the responsive masonry layout as an npm package hexagonal-masonry-placement at npmjs.com.

E-Commerce, AI and Full Stack Web Development

I use artificial intelligence when it helps and makes sense. To my customers, I offer human consulting and expertise based on more than 25 years of professional experience, including knowledge of backend and full-stack web development, accessibility (BFSG, EAA, WCAG), privacy (DSGVO, GDPR), quality assurance, agile methods and AI.

As shop software I currently prefer Shopware 6 or WooCommerce. Since 2024 I'm a certified Shopware developer and Shopware Extension Partner.

Static site generation (SSG) can be done with React, Astro or Eleventy, usually improving the efficiency and loading speed of websites significantly. For backend web development I work with PHP, TypeScript or JavaScript (Node.js), but my focus is frontend web development.

Communication, Quality Assurance and Accessibility

Communication, documentation and quality assurance play an important role in web projects. Automated audit and testing tools like Cypress, Playwright, Lighthouse, axe and WAVE make it easier to comply with customer requirements and legal regulations (GDPR/DSGVO, BFSG, WCAG etc.)

Collaboration is possible on a contractual basis as a freelancer, via a maintenance contract or according to an offer with a cost estimate. Together with my network partners I can implement larger projects as well.
